Project Overview

New-build gardens usually arrive as a patch of compacted rubble and turf. This one became a layered, usable garden with a patio for entertaining, a flat lawn and well-chosen planting.

Our landscaping roots show here: raised timber beds, lighting, durable paving and plants that suit the Welsh climate.

The Brief

Turn a bare plot into a family-friendly garden with an entertaining area, a lawn that drains properly and planting that looks good all year.

The Challenge

New-build ground is often compacted and poorly drained. Levels, drainage and soil preparation matter far more than the surface finish.

How We Built It

What We Did, Step By Step

1. Levels & drainage

Ground levelled, drainage planned and subsoil prepared.

2. Hard landscaping

Patio, paths and raised beds constructed on a proper base.

3. Lawn & planting

Topsoil, turf and planting installed with structure and colour.

4. Lighting & finishing

Garden lighting, edging and final tidy-up.

Project Highlights

  • Porcelain patio for entertaining
  • Level, well-drained lawn
  • Raised timber planting beds
  • Planting chosen for the Welsh climate
  • Soft garden lighting
  • Low-maintenance design

The Result

A garden the whole family uses — an extension of the home rather than a muddy lawn, built to last.
